Mana Dhondi Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Mana Dhondi is a small class study app for one college class. It lets class members sign in and read shared study PDFs (notes, lab records, question papers, quick-revision sheets). This page explains what the app collects, why, and who handles it. It is an honest description of how the app works, not a legal certification.

What the app collects

College email address, used as your sign-in identity and to send sign-in codes. An optional display name for your profile. A password if you set one: when you sign in, the app sends it to the sign-in provider (Supabase Auth), which stores only a cryptographic hash of it. The app's own database never stores your plain password. Shared study files and their details: PDF files in the class library, with subject, category, title, file size, uploader, and upload time. A fixed class email list: only addresses on this list can create an account, and the list is not published anywhere.

What the app does not collect

No advertising IDs, no analytics trackers, no precise location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no camera. The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics SDK.

How your information is used

To let you sign in with one-time email codes or a password. To restrict registration to the class list. To show the shared PDF library to signed-in class members. Nothing else: no marketing email, and no selling or sharing of your data with advertisers.

Service providers that process data

Supabase provides the database, sign-in, and file storage, with servers in Mumbai, India. It stores accounts, profiles, the class email list, file records, and the PDF files, and keeps standard operational and security logs such as IP address, device and browser details, and access times under its own policies. Mailjet delivers the sign-in and password-reset emails. It receives your email address only to deliver those codes and keeps delivery status records under its own policies. Mailjet privacy policy

Google hosts the manadhondi@gmail.com mailbox used to operate the app's sender address. Google privacy policy

File access

PDFs are served through short-lived signed links that expire after a few minutes. A PDF you download to your own device is yours to keep. Downloaded copies cannot be revoked or deleted remotely.

Retention and deletion

Accounts and profiles stay while the class app is active. You can request account deletion any time by emailing manadhondi@gmail.com from your class email address. Deletion removes your profile and sign-in from the app database. Provider backups and operational logs may take additional time to expire under each provider's own schedule, and downloaded file copies cannot be taken back. To correct your name or other details, email the same address.

Changes and security

If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change. Access to the library requires sign-in and is limited to approved class email addresses, enforced at the database level. No online service can guarantee absolute security; if you suspect misuse of your account, email manadhondi@gmail.com.
